About me

Hey, I’m Meilina, pleasure to e-meet you! I’m an energetic and enthusiastic MSc student with an affinity for developing responsible data-driven solutions. I enjoy being challenged by novel ideas and problems in science and engineering and I aim to have a career revolving around science and innovation. I am especially interested in explainable AI and geometric deep learning, especially in the context of drug discovery.

I hold a BSc degree in Artificial Intelligence from Radboud University, and I am currently in the final stages of my MSc studies at the Eindhoven University of Technology. My academic research has been published in the ReScience C Journal, CIDI and The Gradient (in press), and has been noticed by the NRC, NOS and the Dutch House of Representatives. Next to doing my studies full-time, I have committed myself to a wide and diverse range of extracurriculars - from teaching French to young pupils to assisting with the organization of AI-related symposia – I don’t tend to shy away from any challenge that comes up my way. When I’m not busy with these extracurriculars, I’m probably road cycling, running, or brewing new speciality coffees.
